So I realized today that my sketchbook is a bit bare and lonely; I therefore decided to comfort it. We laughed together, played; we made vibrant memories, delicious in their complexity yet romantic in their simplicity.

Just christened my newest sketch book with some sketches. It's weird going from sketching with a tablet back to traditional medium. Every time I goof up I start to reach over for the control and z keys then I think to myself: "Idiot".

So this was my day today. I'm not sure if the contrast on the whale is high enough for it to stand out yet. Might be worth some retouching in the future.
