Some random sketches I did in class during my Faces and Clothing lectures. Also a dragon because duh. And no, TP does not stand for toilet paper.
I feel I should explain Lady Amalthea in the last sketch. I normally stay away from drawing copyrighted characters let alone posting them but I was very pleased with how she came out.
I gave the students several characters and they had to draw each with a different expression as portrayed by a model. I usually do the first few with them and I paired the Lady with a girl sporting a goofy expression--I always felt grief for all the pain and sorrow she endured in human form and wanted to see her in a more lighthearted mood, really for her sake as well as mine.
Go watch The Last Unicorn. Also read the book.

Thezra
Finally finished with this one! Thezra and her companion Pterry (clever huh?...Well?!) return from a successful day of hunting. Ankle-stingers don't go down easy but when you've got a club with a reach...
Can't wait to draw her again, though next time--on her request (by which I mean threat)--I'll be designing an outfit more conducive to walking. Normally I'm all for function following form in regards to a character's outfit but all the while I was coloring that skull I kept thinking "Her poor thighs." While it certainly protects the sweet spots apparently the chafing is fierce.

Thezra
I sketched this character a while back and she got so many positive responses. Decided to develop her a little more.
Helluva' fun character to draw.
